POLL: Truncated descriptions: Garmin Oregon and probably others

After having upgraded my new Garmin Oregon to SW 3.40, I found that long descriptions (in general) and waypoint descriptions (generated by geo-html2gpx; GC PQs don't put useful info into WP desc) may be truncated. Unfortunately, often important info is right at the end (think of multi-cache tasks).
For the Oregon, the limits are 8k characters (including HTML tags!) and 49 characters, respectively.

I'd like to run a little poll:

- What device are you using? Which SW version?
- If you notice truncations, please list the GCxxxxx/WP id and the truncation point
(Please don't count yourself :))

The outcome may be a little filter script (suggested name: "gpx2oregon" or "gpx2gpx") that reduces HTML overhead and throws warnings if limits are exceeded (so you're prepared to take a printout with you).

Edit: There's gpx2gpx now in my personal patch set, coming with an option "-c oregon" - to implement limits for other devices like the Colorado, I need the details. Help is appreciated.
